These Terms of Use (the “Terms”) govern your access to and use of the website located at alexgoodmanrealtor.ca (the “Site”). By accessing or using the Site, you agree to be bound by these Terms and by our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.

The Site is operated by Alex Goodman, Sales Representative at RE/MAX Your Community Realty, Brokerage (the “Brokerage”), located at 8854 Yonge Street, Richmond Hill, Ontario L4C 0T4. Alex Goodman is registered under the Trust in Real Estate Services Act, 2002 (Ontario) and regulated by the Real Estate Council of Ontario (RECO).

Each RE/MAX office is independently owned and operated.

Content on the Site — including market commentary, insights posts, neighbourhood pages, and answers to frequently asked questions — is provided for general information only. It is not a substitute for individualized legal, tax, accounting, mortgage, inspection, surveying, or appraisal advice. Always consult appropriately licensed professionals before making a real estate decision.

Estimates, ranges, and market opinions are not formal appraisals as defined under the Appraisal Institute of Canada standards.

Listing information displayed on the Site, including sold-comparable data, neighbourhood statistics, and property records, is provided in whole or in part by the Toronto Regional Real Estate Board (TRREB), the Canadian Real Estate Association (CREA), and other recognized data providers. The information is deemed reliable but is not guaranteed to be accurate, complete, or current.

The trademarks REALTOR®, REALTORS®, and the REALTOR® logo are controlled by The Canadian Real Estate Association (CREA) and identify real estate professionals who are members of CREA. The trademarks MLS®, Multiple Listing Service®, and associated logos are owned by CREA and identify the quality of services provided by real estate professionals who are members of CREA. Used under licence.

Always confirm material details (price, square footage, taxes, condo fees, lot dimensions, zoning, inclusions, and status) with your representative and through original documents before relying on them.

Using the Site, contacting Alex Goodman through the contact form, or exchanging emails does not, by itself, create a buyer-representation, listing, or other agency relationship. An agency relationship arises only after a written representation agreement has been executed in accordance with the Trust in Real Estate Services Act, 2002.

You agree not to:

• Use the Site for any unlawful purpose or in violation of these Terms.
• Scrape, crawl, harvest, or otherwise extract data from the Site by automated means, except for well-behaved search-engine crawlers honouring our robots.txt.
• Attempt to interfere with, probe, or test the vulnerability of the Site or any related infrastructure.
• Impersonate another person or submit false or misleading information through any form.
• Reproduce, redistribute, or republish substantial portions of the Site's content without our prior written permission, except as permitted by fair-dealing provisions of the Copyright Act.

The design, layout, copy, code, photographs, logos, and other materials on the Site (collectively, the “Content”), other than third-party material such as MLS® data and partner trademarks, are owned by Alex Goodman or licensed to him and are protected by Canadian and international copyright and trademark laws. All rights are reserved unless expressly granted in writing.

You may view, download, and print pages from the Site solely for your personal, non-commercial use, provided that you keep all copyright and other proprietary notices intact.

The Site may contain links to third-party websites or resources. These are provided for convenience only. We do not control, endorse, or accept responsibility for the content, products, or services on third-party sites. Your use of any linked site is governed by that site's own terms and privacy policy.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the Site and its Content are provided “as is” and “as available” without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.

Neither Alex Goodman nor the Brokerage will be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or exemplary damages arising out of or in connection with your use of, or inability to use, the Site or any Content, even if advised of the possibility of such damages. Where liability cannot be excluded under applicable law, it is limited to the maximum extent permitted.

Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes liability that cannot be limited or excluded under Ontario law, including liability for fraud or wilful misconduct.

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Alex Goodman, the Brokerage, and their respective affiliates and representatives from and against any claims, losses, damages, liabilities, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of your breach of these Terms or your misuse of the Site.

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada applicable in it, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles. You and we submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Ontario for any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Site.

We may update these Terms from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top of the page shows when changes took effect. Continued use of the Site after a change constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
